Powerful antiseptic, disinfectant, antiviral, antifungal & bacterial properties, stimulates the immune system. Used for a variety of treatments including, colds, influenza & respiratory tract infections, throat infections, mouth infections, oral thrush, gingivitis, ulcers, bad breath & cold sores. Beneficial in treating urinogenital infections such as, cystitis, thrush, herpes, pruritus & urethritis when used in a bath, its effects being soothing whilst combating any infections. In skin care tea tree can be applied neat onto, spots, blemishes, insect bites, minor burns & stings. It has also been found to be effective in treating fungal ski infections such as athlete's foot & ringworm. Elderly persons with poor circulation suffering from leg wounds & ulcers will also benefit from using this oil when blended with bland carrier oil such as almond.
